NUSAKU, Carbon Trading with Blockchain Technology Indonesian Solutions Achieve Zero Emission

The Ministry of Environment and Forestry program, Indonesia will participate in reducing the concentration of Co2 in the world by 29% to 40% in 2030 later. Of the 29%, 17.2% will be donated from the forestry sector.

Ministry of Environment and Forestry to be able to realize the commitment to reduce 17.2%, one of the efforts is to plant trees. Due to the increasing amount of forest cover, it is certain that Indonesia will be able to absorb the Co2 in the atmosphere and convert it into oxygen.

This was conveyed by the Minister of Environment and Forestry of the Republic of Indonesia, Siti Nurbaya through the Director-General of Forestry Planning and Environmental Management at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry, Dr. Ir. Ruandha Agung Sugardiman, MSc during a Talk Show program with Nusaku, at the Ministry of Environment and Forestry (LHK).

Other speakers were the Chairperson of the Indonesian Forest Care Foundation (YPHI) Transtoto Hadhadari and the General Chairperson of the Anugerah Bumi Hijau (Koprabuh) Producer Cooperative, Yohanes Cianes Walean.

He added that Indonesia’s efforts to the world to be able to reduce the concentration of Co2, the forestry sector is the main motor.

“So, tree planting through the NUSAKU program is very relevant to the LHK program,” he admitted on Saturday (30/10/2021).

Chairman of the Indonesian Forest Care Foundation (YPHI) Transtoto Hadhadari explained about climate change.

“Climate Change or climate change in the world occurs because of an increase in energy use. Eighty percent of the world’s CO2 production is due to energy. Well, in Indonesia the case is strange, Co2 occurs a lot because our forests turn into vacant land. That’s our problem. So, our job is how to turn those blanks into green again,” said the former head of the Information Center at the Ministry of Forestry.

Transtoto explained, with the assimilation process, trees absorb more Co2. Indonesia as a tropical country has an extraordinary ability for this, as an oxygenator.

“We must be proud to be a producer of oxygen,” concluded the former President Director of Perum Perhutani.

Indonesia is a very lucky country because Indonesia has a very large tropical forest area. However, it is unfortunate that forests in Indonesia are degraded due to illegal logging, forest encroachment, reduction of forest areas (deforestation) for development purposes, and massive land use that is not based on the principle of sustainability. Forests become damaged and can no longer absorb carbon properly.

Even though trees have a very important function in efforts to reduce the increase in greenhouse gases, the main cause of global warming and climate change.

Like a sponge/foam, trees absorb carbon dioxide produced by the activities of humans and other living things. The function of this tree is carried out very massively by the forest.

The decreasing number of forests coupled with the production of more and more emissions is making the earth’s atmosphere hotter and accelerating climate change.

The Indonesian government is taking action to tackle this forest destruction by inviting the Indonesian people to participate in planting trees.

Previously, Chairman of the Anugerah Bumi Hijau (Koprabuh) Producer Cooperative, Yohanes Cianes Walean, spoke about the prospect of Carbon Trading, NUSAKU using blockchain technology which can be an alternative solution to support Indonesia to achieve Zero Emission.

“In this way, many projects in the world will support the movement to plant trees to absorb carbon emissions produced by carbon-producing companies, thus creating a balance to keep the earth more friendly home for humans, animals and preserving the environment. For this project, Koprabuh will be in collaboration with PT Green Gold Artha Buana,” said Yohanes.

According to him, Koprabuh himself has experienced planting trees since 2006 and has national access throughout Indonesia in the form of land owned by farmers who are ready to plant trees.

Human resources Farmers in Koprabuh are highly trained to do efficient tree planting and the success rate in tree planting is 100% because there is a guarantee that if the tree dies it will be replaced with new tree seedlings.

“Koprabuh has proven successful in breaking the world record, GUINNESS WORLD RECORD on November 28, 2016, as the world’s largest tree planter. The tree planting event was attended by the President of the Republic of Indonesia Joko Widodo and the Minister of Environment and Forestry Siti Nurbaya,” he explained.

John added PT Green Gold Artha Buana accelerated the realization of its collaboration with Koprabuh to immediately launch the NUSAKU Token project in the Indonesian cryptocurrency world.

It is hoped that digitizing the tree planting work program in all vacant land in Indonesia, will provide fresh air to farmers in Indonesia to improve their welfare of farmers.

And can prevent global warming by participating in the carbon trading business whose data validation has been recorded digitally and can reach a wider market of investors, namely the whole world.

NUSAKU is A new cryptocurrency directly related to tree planting. Investing in NUSAKU means the adoption of trees planted by KOPRABUH farmers, on their own land, the seeds from their own nurseries are taken care of when they die and are replaced. Each tree is given the name of an adopter called OXYGENERATOR

All tree planting data is confirmed on the Blockchain so it is the best way to ensure trees are planted and cared for. Farmers make a profit, apart from investors, they also get profit because the interest of people to buy Nusaku is very large, in line with the desire to INVEST while doing charities to help farmers and make Indonesia green again.

Meanwhile, Indodax CEO Oscar Darmawan, explained that crypto assets have great potential to develop in Indonesia and it is appropriate for these crypto assets to be traded.

Crypto enthusiasts in Indonesia are growing, it can be seen from the volume of transactions on various exchanges in Indonesia and this phenomenon can be seen all over the world.

With a new trend in investing, Nusaku is hereby combining cryptocurrency technology with tree planting projects.

This is in line with the government’s target of reducing emissions by 2030 (zero emissions) and also improving the welfare of farmers and digital-based climate change mitigation. NUSAKU has a goal to mitigate farmer poverty and mitigate extreme climates, “clean the air, plant the trees”.

This NUSAKU project has a goal, namely 1 tree is equivalent to 1 NUSAKU supply, and to be able to make this happen PT Green Gold Artha Buana will use blockchain technology, where buyers can buy NUSAKU crypto assets and have participated in the tree-planting movement carried out by Koprabuh.

And NUSAKU’s investment will always increase in value because NUSAKU’s offline business in the carbon trading business has proven the validity of the data because it will be recorded digitally.
